Onomatopoeia Poem

W.A.L.T: Use onomatopoeia in poetry.
In class for writing we wrote an  onomatopoeia poem about fireworks and this is mine. Something I enjoyed was writing the poem, something I did well was describing the fireworks and something I could do better next time would be to make the sentences rhyme.

Boom, bang, pop! Boom, bang pop!
Goes the fireworks flying high in the night sky

Pow, woosh, sizzle! Pow, woosh, sizzle!
I can see them glistening in the sky

Pew, crackle, fizz! Pew, crackle, fizz!
I can smell the fireworks burning in the air

Shrove Tuesday/Pancake Day

W.A.L.T: Summarising information it into my own words
This week in class for reading we have been given a task about Shrove Tuesday and we had to get information and put it into our own words. Something I enjoyed was creating this slideshow about Shrove Tuesday, what I did well was Putting the information into my own words and something I could do better next time would be to create a different presentation for Shrove Tuesday.
