Converting Between Fractions, Decimals And Percentages.

Last week and this week our class has been learning about converting between fractions, decimals and percentages, we had the task of making a D.L.O about what we have learnt and this is mine. Something I enjoyed was learning more about converting between fractions, decimals and percentages, something I  did well was giving examples and something I could do better next time would be to explain more and go more in depth so people can get a better understanding.

Ordering Decimals

This week was have been learning about ordering decimals and we had the tack of making a D.L.O about what we have learnt about and this is mine. Something I enjoyed was making the D.L.O, something I did well was making explaining how to add decimals and something I could do better next time would be to add more question in the quiz.

Angles

W.A.L.T: Identify and construct right, acute and obtuse angles, know the degree value of angles that are simple fractions of a whole turn and know that the angle at a point is 360.
For a couple of weeks in mathematics we have been learning about angles and after we have done all our learning we had to make an interactive D.L.O and this is mine. Something I enjoyed was linking my slides in my slideshow, something I did well was explaining the different types of angles and something I could do better next time would be to do a more interesting D.L.O instead of a slideshow.

Transformation

W.A.L.T: Describe transformations of shapes.
These last couple of weeks our class have had the task of creating a D.L.O about transformation ( rotation, reflection, translation and enlargement)
What I enjoyed was making the D.L.O more interesting, what I did well was animating the slideshow and what I could do better next time would be to add more information.

Netball Court

W.A.L.T... explore and use a scale to work out distances on maps.
In maths we had a task of finding an something and make a scale drawing of it and this is mine. Something I enjoyed was measuring the Netball court, something I did well was making the drawing of it and something I could do better next time would be to choose something that's bigger so it's more challenging.

Adding and subtracting decimals

W.A.L.T: Add and subtract decimal numbers.
This week in maths we have been learning about adding and subtracting decimals and one of our tasks was to make a D.L.O about adding and subtracting decimals and include some word problems to test the audience and this is mine. Something I enjoyed was making the quiz, something I did well was making the D.L.O and something I could do better next time would be to explain how to add and subtract decimals a bit more and add some more questions for the quiz.

Using A Scale

This week in maths we have been learning about scales and how to use them. We had to make a D.L.O about scales and this is mine. Something I enjoyed was making the presentation, something I did well was giving examples of the scales and something I could do better next time would be to add more slides to explain more about the scales so people have a better understanding of scales and how to use them.

Perimeter and Area

W.A.L.T: Calculate the Perimeter and Area of squares, rectangles and triangles.
This week in maths we have been learning about how to work out the Perimeter and Area of shapes. and I have made a D.L.O about the Perimeter and Area of shapes. Something I enjoyed was using my imagination on how to present the Perimeter and Area of some shapes, something I did well was explaining how to Calculate the Perimeter and Area of squares, rectangles and triangles and something I can do better next time would be to have everything more spaced out and not crowded.

A Picture Using A Compass

W.A.L.T... Use a compass to create a picture
During maths we had to create a picture by using a compass only and this is mine.
Something I enjoyed was having the challenge of drawing with a compass, something I did well was drawing the picture and something I can do better next time would be to do a picture more difficult.

Doubling And Halving

W.A.L.T : Solve multiplication problems by doubling and halving.
I enjoyed coming up with the equations, something I did well was explaining how to do doubling and halving, something I could do better next time is to add more pictures to make the slideshow more interesting

Order Of Our Everyday Life

W.A.L.T: Recognise that the order of operations matters in practical real life situations.
I enjoyed thinking about what goes where and something I could do better next time would be to space them out a bit more.

Strategies

This is  how to multiply decimal fractions by finding areas of rectangles something I enjoyed is hilighting the boxes something I can inprove on is adding more detail to this.

Strategies

This is  how to add and subtract by using decimal fractions, I enjoyed coming up with the example, something I can do next time is add more information to this.

Time Series Data

Last week we were measuring how many cars go past S.t Bernadette's car park with a buddy. We then had to create a DLO about it. I enjoyed doing this because it was interesting to see how how many different types of cars went past. Next time we will add more information to this.
