Low Carbon town

W.A.L.T: Understand that human actions are affecting our climate.
In reading my class were given a task to design a low carbon city or town and this is mine. Something I enjoyed was creating the pictures, something I did well was the ideas, and something I can work on next time would be to make add more things to make it more interesting.

  1. Hey Siobhan, what a fantastic google drawing! It would be great if the CO2 was like petrol! I think that would save our environment, this maybe even would make people plant more trees! Something that would make this post even better is if you put a sentence under your image explaining how this shows that human action is affecting the climate. How do you think this relates to the WALT? Why is a low carb city a good thing?

    1. Hi MissM,
Thank you for looking at my google drawing. This relates to the W.A.L.T because when people use things like: cars, buses and motorbikes they produce carbon dioxide. A low carbon city is a good thing because CO2 traps in extra heat from the sun and that might create more extreme weather.
      Thank you for the advice.
      Siobhan.
